[TOKYO] Tokyo shares opened lower Wednesday (Mar 30), but the market remained buoyant as global shares rallied on news that peace talks over Ukraine are making progress.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index eased 0.16 per cent or 44.20 points to 28,208.22, while the broader Topix index fell 0.57 per cent or 11.42 points to 1,980.24. AFP
