[TOKYO] Tokyo's key Nikkei index opened lower on Monday amid ongoing fears about the coronavirus pandemic.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was down 0.03 per cent at 17,814.30 in early trade, while the broader Topix index was up 0.22 per cent or 2.95 points at 1,328.08.
