[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks ended flat on Tuesday, squeaking up 0.02 per cent, as a stronger yen and profit taking held back gains.
The Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange added 3.22 points, to close at 19,908.68 yen, while the broader Topix index of all first-section issues gained 0.29 per cent, or 4.56 points, to 1,590.82.
