Tokyo: Shares close higher extending US rallies

    TOKYO stocks closed higher on Monday (Oct 31), extending Wall Street rallies led by big gains from Apple.

    The benchmark Nikkei 225 index jumped 1.78 per cent, or 482.26 points, to end at 27,587.46, while the broader Topix index rose 1.60 per cent, or 30.38 points, to 1,929.43. AFP
