TOKYO stocks fell on Wednesday (Sep 28) after US blue-chip shares slid with the S&P 500 notching a new low for the year.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 1.50 per cent, or 397.89 points, to close at 26,173.98, while the broader Topix index gave up 0.95 per cent, or 17.86 points, to 1,855.15. AFP
