[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks recovered from earlier losses to end almost flat Wednesday, as the dollar firmed while investors searched for new cues.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index ended down just 0.14 per cent or 29.19 points at 20,593.72, while the broader Topix index fell 0.60 per cent, or 9.40 points, to 1,547.03.
