[TOKYO] Tokyo shares opened 0.36 per cent lower Monday following a negative lead on Wall Street as investors await US jobs data and a Bank of Japan business survey later this week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange fell 63.69 points to 17,816.82 in the first minutes of trading.
