[TOKYO] Tokyo shares opened up 1.12 per cent on Monday, following gains on Wall Street amid speculation central bank policymakers could pull the trigger on extra stimulus at the end of the week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 210.83 points to 19,036.13 in opening deals.
