Tokyo: Shares open 1.34% lower

[TOKYO] Tokyo shares opened down 1.34 per cent on Monday, following Wall Street lower as Japan Post's trading debut and fresh US data will be in focus this week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange dropped 255.99 points to 18,827.11 in opening deals.
