TOKYO stocks closed lower on Friday (Oct 28) following falls in US tech shares and with investors disheartened by losses in other Asian markets.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index ended down 0.88 per cent, or 240.04 points, at 27,105.20, while the broader Topix index slipped 0.34 per cent, or 6.51 points, to 1,899.05. AFP
