Tokyo: Stocks close lower on profit-taking
TOKYO shares closed lower on Tuesday (Aug 16) as investors sought to lock in profits after 2 days of rallies.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index inched down 0.01 per cent, or 2.87 points, to 28,868.91, while the broader Topix index ended down 0.15 per cent, or 3.00 points, to 1,981.96. AFP
