Tokyo: Stocks end higher after four-day losses

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks closed higher Wednesday on bargain-hunting after falling for four straight sessions.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was up 0.16 per cent or 36.65 points at 23,506.04, while the broader Topix index gained 0.16 per cent or 2.74 points at 1,763.86.
