TOKYO stocks ended sharply higher on Friday (Oct 14), following robust gains on Wall Street where shares made a rapid U-turn from selling prompted by forecast-beating inflation data.
The Nikkei 225 closed up 3.25 per cent, or 853.34 points, at 27,090.76, while the broader Topix index rose 2.35 per cent, or 43.58 points, to 1,898.19. AFP
