Tokyo: Stocks open flat
[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened flat on Monday with rallies on Wall Street failing to support the market, and a lack of fresh market-moving events to interest investors.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was down 0.04 per cent or 8.03 points to 22,912.27 in early trade, while the broader Topix index was up 0.01 per cent or 0.22 points at 1,604.28.
