Tokyo: Stocks open flat on Friday
TOKYO stocks opened flat on Friday following gains by tech shares on Wall Street and businesses reporting that higher material prices were weighing on their profits.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was down just 0.04 per cent, or 10.22 points, to 27,921.98 in early trade, while the broader Topix index was flat at 1,930.77. AFP
