[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened higher on Thursday after rallies on Wall Street, with investors still watching corporate earnings in Japan.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was up 0.74 per cent or 214.29 points at 29,026.92 in early trade, while the broader Topix index advanced 1.10 per cent or 20.96 points to 1,919.20.
