Tokyo: Stocks open higher on Wednesday
[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened higher on Wednesday, tracking gains on Wall Street as investors monitor developments in Ukraine.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was up 1.49 per cent or 405.02 points at 27,629.13 in early trade, while the broader Topix index advanced 1.22 per cent or 23.60 points to 1,957.34. AFP
