[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened higher on Wednesday supported by rallies on Wall Street.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was up 0.3 per cent or 97.13 points at 29,125.07 in early trade, while the broader Topix index gained 0.1 per cent or 1.04 points to 1,918.72.
