[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Friday with energy shares falling after an Opec decision not to deepen output cuts disappointed investors.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index slipped 0.11 per cent, or 22.43 points, to 19,790.70 in early trade while the Topix index of all first-section issues edged down 0.08 per cent, or 1.29 points, to 1,577.13.
