TOKYO stocks opened lower on Friday following falls in US tech shares, with investors’ eyes on a policy decision from the Bank of Japan due later in the day.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was down 0.92 per cent, or 250.72 points, at 27,094.52 in early trade, while the broader Topix index was down 0.54 per cent, or 10.26 points, at 1,895.30. AFP
