[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Friday after Wall Street fell on worries over a retreat in oil prices and the outlook for key US policies.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 0.42 per cent, or 82.78 points, to 19,507.36 in early trading, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.46 per cent, or 7.19 points, at 1,565.50.
