Tokyo: Stocks open lower on Monday
[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Monday, weighed down by investor caution over US trade tensions with Canada and China.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 0.21 per cent or 48.60 points to 22,816.55 in early trade while the broader Topix index was also down 0.21 per cent or 3.64 points at 1,731.71.
