[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Thursday as investors sought to take profits after recent rallies.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was down 0.10 per cent or 29.70 points at 28,830.92 in early trade, while the broader Topix index was down 0.04 per cent or 0.89 points at 2,001.35.
