Tokyo: Stocks open lower on Tuesday

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Tuesday after hitting a 15-month high in the previous session over solid US jobs data which all but guaranteed a Federal Reserve rate hike this week.
The Nikkei 225 index slipped 0.02 per cent, or 3.73 points, to 19,630.02, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.08 per cent, or 1.31 points, at 1,576.09.
