Update: SGX queries ecoWise, China Sky over spike in share price, volume
SPIKES in the share prices amid unusually large volumes of trade on Friday in two counters, renewable-focused ecoWise Holdings and nylon fibre maker China Sky Chemical Fibre, have drawn queries from Singapore Exchange.
ecoWise shares opened at S$0.037 and surged to S$0.050 as at 10.30am. The counter ranked among top traded, with over 55 million shares changing hands. The stock closed at S$0.034 on Thursday.
China Sky traded at S$0.045, up 0.7 cents, as at 10.30am, with over 18 million shares transacted. The counter closed at S$0.038 on Thursday.
