US: Wall St opens higher after Broadcom’s upbeat forecast
WALL Street’s main indexes opened higher on Friday (Dec 13) after an upbeat forecast from Broadcom kept alive the euphoria around artificial intelligence and boosted chip stocks.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 15.0 points, or 0.03 per cent, at the open to 43,929.15.
The S&P 500 rose 16.9 points, or 0.28 per cent, at the open to 6,068.17?, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 92.3 points, or 0.46 per cent, to 19,995.179 at the opening bell. REUTERS
