US: Wall Street at record highs as post-election rally continues
WALL Street’s main indexes opened at record highs on Monday (Nov 11) as optimism on proposed tax cuts and expectations of an easier regulatory environment after Donald Trump won the US presidency continued to lift stocks.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 254.75 points, or 0.58 per cent, at the open to 44,243.74.
The S&P 500 rose 13.3 points, or 0.22 per cent, at the open to 6008.86?, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 68.6 points, or 0.36 per cent, to 19355.338 at the opening bell. REUTERS
