CEO of beer at F&N to retire; new food CEO appointed

BEVERAGE maker Fraser and Neave (F&N) said that its chief executive officer (CEO) of beer will retire from his role with effect from Oct 1.
Prapakon Thongtheppairot, 45, was recently appointed as the new global Spirit Product group CEO of Thai Beverage Public Company.
F&N said that he will be retiring from his role as CEO of beer at F&N - where he was responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic growth of the beer business - to "focus on his new role".
Mr Prapakon, who was appointed beer CEO in August last year, will remain an alternate director to Sithichai Chaikriangkrai and a member of the board executive committee of F&N.
Separately, F&N announced that it has appointed Bennett Neo as CEO of food with effect from Oct 1. F&N said that that Mr Neo, 47, will be responsible for building and implementing the strategies of the company's food business.
