C&G to sell waste-to-energy business in China for 1.85b yuan

C&G Environmental Protection Holdings will be selling its waste-to-energy (WTE) business, assets and principal operating subsidiaries in China to Shanghai-listed Grandblue Environment for 1.85 billion yuan (S$383 million), as it focuses on expanding its businesses in South-east Asia.

Grandblue, a listed utility and environmental player in China, engages in tap water supply, sewage treatment, solid waste treatment and disposal, gas services and waste incineration power generation businesses.
