JR Group's Chef-in-Box VendCafe - a hot-food vending machine cafe in Singapore - has launched an outlet at Ang Mo Kio MRT station, its first in an MRT station. Another outlet will be opened at Lakeside MRT station by the end of next week.
In conjunction with Tuesday's launch, Chef-in-Box VendCafe has released 10 new dishes, such as Fried Carrot Cake, Thai Green Curry Chicken and Spanish Paella. With this, it is offering a comprehensive menu selection of more than 90 food and drinks options - including Thai and Spanish favourites and local classics such as nasi lemak - for an "around-the-world gourmet experience".
