China Everbright bags China water treatment plant upgrading project
CHINA Everbright Water said on Monday that it has secured an upgrading project for a water treatment facility in China.
The Liaoning Dalian Lvshun Bailanzi Waste Water Treatment Project Upgrading, as the project is named, will command a total investment of about 42 million yuan (S$8.47 million), said China Everbright Water.
The company added that upon the completion of the upgrading work, the water discharge will comply with the National Grade 1A standard, upgraded from the National Grade 1B standard.
The daily waste water treatment capacity will remain at 30,000 cubic metres.
China Everbright Water will effect a water tariff hike according to the relevant agreement, following the completion of the upgrading work and the commencement of the project's operation.
The upgrading work - which is now underway - is estimated to be completed by end-2017.
China Everbright Water is a water environment management company listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange.
