China Everbright Water secures phase 3 of Jiangyin Chengxi wastewater treatment project

CHINA Everbright Water has signed a supplemental agreement to the concession agreement with Jiangyin Lingang Economic Development Zone of Jiangsu province for phase 3 of the Jiangsu Jiangyin Chengxi wastewater treatment project.

Under the supplemental agreement, phase 3 will be invested in, constructed and operated based on the build-operate-transfer model with an investment of about 161 million yuan (S$32.7 million). The project has a concession period of 30 years and a daily designed treatment capacity of 30,000 cubic metres.

The areas that it services includes the Shengang, Ligang and Xiagang in the Lingang Development Zone.

Upon completion, the total daily treatment capacity of the company's wastewater treatment projects in Jiangyin will increase to 220,000 cubic metres.
