China Everbright Water secures three wastewater treatment upgrading projects
ENVIRONMENTAL protection company China Everbright Water has secured three wastewater treatment upgrading projects, involving a total investment of about 210 million yuan (S$43 million).
The three projects are Shandong Zibo Zhoucun Waste Water Treatment, Liaoning Dalian Chunliuhe Waste Water Treatment and Liaoning Dalian Quanshui Waste Water Treatment.
The total investment for the Zhoucun upgrading project is approximately 15.8 million yuan, which involves improving the existing project with a daily waste water treatment capacity of 40,000 m3. Works are estimated to be completed within the first half of this year.
Executive director and chief executive officer of Everbright Water An Xuesong said: "With the implementation of these upgrading projects, wastewater treatment tariffs are expected to be adjusted accordingly. Based on Everbright Water's management philosophy, coupled with the strong support of our controlling shareholder China Everbright International and favourable national policies, we are confident that Everbright Water will continue to grow steadily and progress to the next level."
