MAINBOARD-LISTED China Fibretech said on Sunday that no meeting of the company's Nominating Committee was convened to consider the appointment of two new directors, namely Choo Han Kiat, Eric and Leow Yong Kin, to its board. The firm was responding to a query by the Singapore Exchange (SGX) on the appointments announced on Oct 5.
China Fibretech said both Mr Choo and Mr Leow were appointed by way of board resolution in writing signed by chief executive officer Wu Xinhua and Nominating Committee member Wu Dezhi, which constituted the majority of the board when the resolution was passed.
