China slowdown is now top concern of Asian treasurers

It replaces currency turmoil as the single largest worry, says JP Morgan survey

    CHINA'S economic slowdown has replaced foreign exchange volatility as the single largest concern for company treasurers in the Asia-Pacific region, according to a survey by JP Morgan.

    Companies are also less concerned about interest rates, and most plan to use excess cash for strategic purposes, JP Morgan found in its twice-yearly survey of treasurers.
