China Sunsine rebounds after saying it is business as usual
Singapore
CHINA Sunsine Chemical Holdings shares gained 5.2 per cent on Wednesday after it moved to assure investors that it was not aware of any undisclosed information that might have caused the wide fluctuation in its share price over the last week.
Shares of the Chinese speciality rubber chemicals manufacturer had dived 22.8 per cent in four sessions since it reported second-quarter earnings last Tuesday evening (Aug 7). Short-selling volume jumped over that period, ranging from 7.3 to 15.8 per cent of all trades each day.
