Chinese tycoon becomes substantial unitholder in OUE Commercial Reit

CHINESE tycoon Gordon Tang has emerged as a substantial shareholder in OUE Commercial Reit.
Mr Tang, who heads property developer Singhaiyi Group, now owns 7.68 per cent of OUE Commercial Reit, a regulatory filing on Friday showed. This is up from 4.88 per cent.
The raised stake followed a private placement by the Reit.
A 2014 Reuters report said Mr Tang was a cornerstone investor in OUE Commercial Reit when it was listed.
