COMMUNICATIONS and design group Kingsmen Creatives has a new chief executive officer from Jan 1, 2025.

Chong Siew Ling, 64, will be responsible for the strategic leadership, corporate governance and operational management of the group’s portfolio including retail, theme parks, museums, exhibitions, events and attractions the group announced on Wednesday (Jan 1).

Chong takes over from Cheng Oon Teck, 63, who retired from the position last December.

Chong has been with the company since 2002 and holds an MBA from the Victoria University of Technology, Australia. He is also concurrently serving as an executive director.

On Wednesday, Kingsmen Creatives also announced the appointment of Marianne Soh, 45, as a director of Kingsmen Exhibits, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kingsmen Creatives.

Soh is also the general counsel of Kingsmen Exhibits and the daughter of Benedict Soh, who co-founded Kingsmen Creatives more than 45 years ago. (*See amendment note)

*Amendment note: An earlier version of the story incorrectly said that Marianne Soh was appointed director of Kingsmen Creatives. She was appointed director of Kingsmen Exhibits, a wholly owned subsidiary of the group.
