SHARES in Chosen Holdings took off on Wednesday after the plastic components company was, for lack of a better verb, chosen by private equity firm Shaw Kwei & Partners for a privatisation bid.
Trading in the shares had been halted for all of Tuesday and Wednesday morning. The stock jumped 18.7 per cent, or 3.7 cents, to 23.5 Singapore cents after trading resumed at noon on Wednesday.
