CIMB Bank and Wirecard embark on merchant acquisition business
Partnership offers complete host of electronic payment solutions, aims to sign on more than 1,000 retailers in Singapore as an initial benchmark

BUSINESSES will soon be able to enjoy a complete host of electronic payment solutions, following the partnership agreement between CIMB Bank and Wirecard.
The combined offering includes banking services - the setting up of a merchant business account and credit facility at zero interest up to 65 per cent of the credit limit - and payment solutions which support eCommerce, mCommerce, mobile and traditional point-of-sale, along with an online portal to facilitate merchants' real- time tracking of transactions across multiple sales channels, as well as risk and fraud management services.
