Citi announces key appointments in Asean region
CITIGROUP on Thursday (Jun 8) announced the appointments of Raymond Lim and Shawn Khong Hsiu-Mun as head of corporate finance for Asean and the country head of Citi Commercial Bank Malaysia, respectively.
Lim, who has been with Citi since 2007, in his new role effective Jun 1 is tasked with supporting fast-growing companies in the Asean (Association of South-east Asian Nations) region by facilitating their financing needs, the company said in a statement.
Shawn Khong, who first joined Citi Singapore as a management associate in 2000, will now oversee Citi Commercial Bank’s strategy in the market, including the growth of the business in Malaysia. His appointment is effective Jul 1. REUTERS
