Civmec's completed W Australia facility can boost its bids for jobs

AUSTRALIAN engineering firm Civmec made a milestone announcement last week about the structural completion of its 53,000 sq metre assembly facility at Henderson in Western Australia, which is ready to start operating anytime.
Its financial performance for the next few quarters will be key in indicating whether the hefty A$85 million (S$79 million) investment in the facility, excluding equipment installed, will be money well spent.
