COGENT Holdings on Saturday presented a cheque for S$100,000 to The Business Times Budding Artists Fund and The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund to celebrate the logistics solutions provider's fifth listing anniversary and Singapore's 50th year of independence. The charities received S$50,000 each.
Cogent executive chairman Tan Yeow Khoon said: "As a group, we are grateful to Singapore for the opportunity to grow our business, which was founded more than 40 years ago, and to be able to list Cogent on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange five years ago. This is a double celebration for us, and we want to express our gratitude by blessing the community. We believe that as our community thrives, we will also flourish."
