COMFORTDELGRO'S net profit for the first quarter ended March 31 rose 12.4 per cent from a year ago to S$82.5 million even as group revenue slipped 2.4 per cent to S$972.0 million on an unfavourable foreign currency translation of S$24.8 million offset by an increase in the underlying business of S$1.2 million.
Earnings per share was 3.83 cents, up from 3.41 cents in the previous corresponding quarter.
The group's net asset value per ordinary share was 121.08 cents, up from 114.77 cents three months earlier.
No dividend has been declared for the current financial period.
