ComfortDelGro's Q1 profit up 12.4% to S$82.5m

COMFORTDELGRO'S net profit for the first quarter ended March 31 rose 12.4 per cent from a year ago to S$82.5 million, even as group revenue slipped 2.4 per cent to S$972.0 million on an unfavourable foreign currency translation of S$24.8 million offset by an increase in the underlying business of S$1.2 million.
The land transport giant's total operating costs fell 1.7 per cent to S$871.5 million.
