ComfortDelGro's Q2 net earnings dip 5.5% to S$75m

TRANSPORT giant ComfortDelGro Corp posted a 5.5 per cent dip in net earnings to S$75 million for the Q2 ending June 30.
In a statement to the SGX yesterday, the company said revenue rose by 5.4 per cent to S$941.1 million, with higher operating expenses and losses from foreign exchange conversion eroding its profitability. Operating cost rose 6.5 per cent to S$831.6 million, compounded by a negative foreign currency conversion effect of S$1.7 million.
