CONFUSION has arisen over whether or not YuuZoo's Singapore CEO Mohandas, who goes by one name, continues to hold any role in the company.

Refuting an SGX announcement on Monday morning designating him as a non-executive director of the company, Mr Mohandas said he no longer holds any role in the company.

In the bourse filing filed by lead independent director Anthony Williams, YuuZoo said it had redesignated Mr Mohandas from executive chairman to non-executive director of the company. This is in conflict with a resignation letter dated March 5 seen by The Business Times (BT) which saw Mr Mohandas resigning from "all other official positions or directorships" undertaken for all subsidiaries of YuuZoo, in addition to his stepping down from the CEO and executive director role.
