Alibaba back on US blacklist for fake goods

ALIBABA Group Holding Ltd has again been labelled a haven for knock-offs with an embarrassing return to a US blacklist for fakes just four years after getting its name removed.
The US Office of the Trade Representative (USTR) on Wednesday restored Alibaba's Taobao to its line-up of "Notorious Markets", citing an unacceptably high level of reported counterfeiting and piracy. The Hangzhou-based company said that it was disappointed in the decision.
