British firms to expand ad budgets despite Brexit: survey

BRITISH companies plan to increase their spending on advertising this year as they expect the UK economy to remain resilient despite the Brexit vote, a survey showed on Wednesday, reversing a previous forecast for a decline in ad budgets.
The IPA Bellwether report forecast corporate ad spending would rise 0.6 per cent in the current financial year, revising a previous forecast, made in October and reiterated in January, for a 0.7 per cent decline.
