DISCUSSIONS on the potential acquisition of a stake in TalkMed Group are still in the preliminary stages, the healthcare services provider said on Thursday (Sep 19).
“There is no assurance that a transaction will take place,” the mainboard-listed company added.
In April, TalkMed disclosed that there was “interest from persons who are considering acquisition of a stake in the company”. Discussions were in preliminary stages then, too.
In its fifth and latest update on the matter, TalkMed said shareholders should refrain from taking any action and exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
It will update shareholders in due course when it becomes aware of any material developments.
Shares of TalkMed closed S$0.005 or 1.2 per cent lower at S$0.40 on Thursday, before the announcement.
